Biozentrum University of Basel

The Biozentrum Tower has 19 floors – 16 above ground and 3 below ground – and offers space for 600 researchers and 800 students on its 23,400m2 of floor space. 40 percent of the total volume is below ground level. The Biozentrum Turm is surrounded by a large, freely accessible square, which is a meeting place for the entire campus with its seating, water features and art interventions.
