New building for psychiatry Baselland

Psychiatry Baselland is realizing a replacement building in Liestal together with the architectural firm phalt Architekten. The building should be ready for occupancy as early as December 2020. The existing outpatient clinic, which is in need of renovation, will be replaced by the new building.

Project
The order comprises four subsections: ventilated facade, main entrance with porch, supplier entrance and various doors. The ventilated facade will be clad with multi-edged sheet metal from the company’s own sheet metal production. The main entrance – consisting of an insulated aluminum system from Reynaers – includes the porch in SSG glazing. The public is led inside the building through two powered sliding doors. Two aluminum door systems are combined for uncomplicated access for personnel and suppliers. Once with and once without fire protection requirement.
